Siegwerk Brazil supports the “Nota SOS Solidária” (SOS Solidaria invoice) Campaign by Aldeias Infantis SOS

Brazil

Siegwerk Brazil and Aldeias Infantis SOS (SOS Children's Villages in Brazil) have been strengthening the relationship between the company and organization each year. With this objective, Siegwerk began 2024 by supporting the “Nota SOS Solidária” Campaign by Aldeias Infantis SOS.

During February, two online presentations were held for employees in the Administrative and Technology areas and two in-person presentations for employees in the production and logistics areas. The presentations were made by a representative of Aldeias Infantis SOS and by Cibele Smosinski, Assistant to the Managing Director and coordinator of social actions at Siegwerk Brazil.

The focus of the presentations were to introduce Aldeias Infantis SOS and the work they carry out throughout Brazil to employees who did not yet know the organization. A retrospective was also made of all the work that Siegwerk Brazil has been carrying out in partnership with the organization. Especially with young adults in the YouthCan! employability program. Smosinski took the opportunity to invite employees to volunteer and participate in the actions that will be carried out this year, which should be scheduled soon.

At the end of the meetings, Aldeias Infantis SOS presented the “Nota SOS Solidária” Campaign, which consists of a donation method that allows people to contribute to the organization without putting their hands in their pocket.

In some states in Brazil, most notably in São Paulo, through the “Nota Fiscal Paulista” program, the government of the state of São Paulo returns to consumers who request an invoice for their purchases, part of the tax that is generated on the purchase. This refund is made in the form of credits generated by the program. The proposal of the “Nota SOS Solidária” Campaign is for people to register Aldeias Infantis SOS to receive these credits as a donation. It is a simple and practical way that everyone can collaborate with the organization without compromising their income. The credits generated for consumers are very low, but when reverted to the organization as a donation, they represent a much greater value.

After the presentations, on February 21 and 22, Aldeias Infantis SOS was presentto Siegwerk Brazil with its stand to guide employees who joined the Nota SOS Solidária Campaign to register the organization to receive the donation of credits of the “Nota Fiscal Paulista.” Those who registered won the right to spin a prize roulette from Aldeias Infantis SOS and received gifts provided by the organization's partners.
