JUNTOS SABEMOS MAIS! (TOGETHER WE KNOW MORE!) – 2024 Program completed successfully

Brazil

JUNTOS SABEMOS MAIS! (TOGETHER WE KNOW MORE!) program, a partnership between Siegwerk and Aldeias Infantis SOS (SOS Children's Villages) in Brazil, has been successfully completed!

From July 8 through October 11, 22 volunteers from Siegwerk Brazil gave 12 lectures to the young participants of this year's program. During the Circuit of Lectures, the volunteers shared their knowledge and experience related to their areas of expertise in the company with the young people and spoke about careers in administration, technology and logistics, among others.

On August 23, Siegwerk Brazil employees welcomed the JUNTOS SABEMOS MAIS! participants on a visit to the Siegwerk factory in Diadema, Brazil. On this occasion, the young adults were able to see the company's administrative sectors, monitor and even perform some tests in the laboratory and also visit the logistics and production areas.

On October 10, the program promoted a visit to SENAI Theobaldo de Nigris, a reference in professional education, especially in the printing sector. Considering the long-standing partnership between the company and the school, the program coordinators believe that the visit to SENAI will further expand the young people's knowledge about the “world of packaging” in which Siegwerk is involved.

To close the program, on October 11, Siegwerk Brazil held a Graduation Ceremony for the participants. The celebration took place at Aldeias Infantis SOS in Rio Bonito-Sao Paolo, and was attended by the young people and their families, the program coordinators, some of the volunteers from the Circuit of Lecture, and other guests.

“With the commitment of everyone involved in the JUNTOS SABEMOS MAIS! program, the partnership between Siegwerk and Aldeias Infantis SOS grows stronger each year. I want to thank each of the volunteers who dedicated their time, attention, and knowledge to making this year's program happen, and I hope that in the coming years more colleagues will join us in this very special program,” said Cibele Smosinski, Executive Secretary and Coordinator of actions with Aldeias Infantis SOS in Brazil.
