Siegwerk Brazil holds Lecture Circuit for young people from SOS Children’s Villages Brazil
Brazil
Siegwerk Brazil started its social project with SOS Children’s Villages Brazil, through a Lecture Circuit given by some of its Siegwerkers. The volunteers shared experience from their professional areas with the young participants of SOS Children’s Villages employability program.
It is the second year that Siegwerk Brazil has carried out this initiative. In 2020 there were nine volunteers with nine lectures given. This year the project held 13 lectures with the participation of 23 volunteers. This time, some lectures were presented in pairs and/or groups.
The goal of the project is to introduce young people to future professional possibilities that they might not even have imagined existed. In addition, each volunteer shared a little of their life experience, which was also received with great interest by the young listeners. This helped them to understand more about how human development takes place, regardless of which profession a person chooses to pursue.
This project has been well received by the employees of Siegwerk. Knowing that we can make a difference in the lives of young people is priceless. That's why the team would like to thank every volunteer who believed in the project and dedicated themselves and their time to deliver their best.
