Siegwerk China CSR activities focus on children and the disabled

China

Employees of Siegwerk China have embraced children in need and the disabled as the key beneficiaries of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects. The welfare project led by the Shanghai-area charity Foundation Minhang District Representative Office includes a project to provide aid to children from underprivileged families to help them enjoy summer vacations they could not normally afford. Through Siegwerk’s donations the children get to enjoy a vacation their families could not pay for on their own.

To support disabled residents of the community. Siegwerk China now provides employment opportunities for two persons with disabilities each year. This opportunity gives stable employment income and access to social benefits such as health insurance and housing support. This program enhances the diversity of the Siegwerk China workforce while providing dignified employment for people who may otherwise be unemployed.
