Siegwerk wins DSM Resins Asia Sustainability Award
Siegwerk has become the first recipient of a new award from DSM NeoResins+. With the “DSM Resins Asia Sustainability Award” the group recognizes companies that are committed to bringing sustainable material solutions into the market.
The inaugural “DSM Resins Asia Sustainability Award” was received by Daan Rademaker, Siegwerk’s Global Purchasing Director, at the ceremony in Guangzhou, China, on November 26, 2008.
Siegwerk was among seven companies shortlisted for the award, developed by DSM to foster commitment to sustainable development and recognize Asian manufacturers for their role in driving local market adoption of new, more environmentally responsible material solutions. As one of the largest suppliers of waterbased flexo inks for high-end packaging applications in China, Siegwerk was chosen for its pioneering work and role in advancing sustainable ink solutions, and the use of waterborne resins in the Chinese market.
