Indonesia

In a significant step towards environmental conservation, Siegwerk Indonesia has donated crucial support to the Indonesian National Association of Natural Resources Conservatory in the Banten province where Siegwerk Indonesia is located. This contribution, aimed at supporting the sea turtle conservation program and providing facility support in the nature preserve and natural park, was made under the legal supervision of the National Association of Indonesian Natural Resources Conservatory.

The event, which took place on June 8  in the Banten Province, Pulau Dua, was a collaborative effort between SWIFT Horizon (Siegwerk Indonesia Force Team of HorizonNow) and the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) department of Siegwerk Indonesia. The initiative was part of the celebrations for World Safety Day 2024 at the Indonesian site and highlighted the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental stewardship.

The donation included essential equipment such as solar panel street lamps and sea turtle feed, which are vital for the ongoing conservation projects. These resources are expected to significantly aid in the conservation and protection of endangered sea turtle species and the restoration of vital mangrove ecosystems and the beginning of collaboration of Siegwerk Indonesia with the National Association of Natural Resources Conservatory to make a visible impact to environmental sustainability and conservation programs.

Siegwerk Indonesia’s contribution underscores the importance of private sector involvement in environmental conservation and showcases how collaborative efforts can lead to meaningful impacts.
