Siegwerk UK gives back to the community
United Kingdom
Instead of spending money on corporate gifts and Christmas cards, due to the hardships resulting from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Siegwerk UK decided to make a donation to South Derbyshire CVS. The charity is based within a two minute walk of the UK site and supports those in the local community who need it most. Please click here to watch a short video about the charity and the work they do.
The work CVS does in the local community includes food deliveries to elderly individuals who do not have family around them for support, a food bank with essential groceries for any family in need, shopmobility services, a travelling lunch club, medication collection and deliveries for those unable to leave their homes due to the Coronavirus or disabilities.
The donated money will provide 100 emergency parcels for local children or will feed 10 families for an entire week.
